Bonaire Workshop July 13-20: July 13 - 20, 2013

Bonaire, located just north of Venezuela in the ABC Islands (Aruba, Bonaire, Curacao) is an underwater photographer's playground. Bonaire's gently sloping dive sites have prolific life in as little as 10 ft of water. Most sites are easily accessible from shore, allowing divers to set their own schedule, and stay as long as they wish. This convenience and flexibility makes Bonaire the perfect place to get to know a new underwater camera system, or fine tune your skills!

Accommodations are provided at Roomer Hotel, a small elegant hotel located in a quiet area south of Kralendjik and minutes from some of the best dive sites on Bonaire. We have reserved the entire property for our group. Rooms are comfortably appointed with air conditioning, flat screen tv, comfortable beds, and free wifi internet. Daily buffet breakfast is included at Roomer's on site pool side restaurant.

The trip advisor reviews for Roomer are quite impressive. We love the family atmosphere!

Tanks for shore diving are provided by Belmar Apartment's Dive Shop, which is directly across the street from Roomer. An excellent shore dive is also available at Belmar, as well as unlimited tanks for shore diving, and acccess to the shore diving and drive through tank station at Buddy Dive.

Our staff will provide five daily 1-2 hour afternoon presentations ranging from can't miss dive sites to underwater photo techniques. One on one critiques and gear support are available as needed.

In addition to great diving, Bonaire has an unusually great selection of restaurants for a small island. Going with an all inclusive plan would be criminal here. We've planned group dinners at several of Bonaire's finest establishments thanks to years of local experience from our inside man Bruce Zavon.

Trips to the more remote sites in Washington-Slagbaai National Park and the windward "Wild Side" of the island are possible for a small extra fee.

Each room includes a four door pickup truck, allowing access to Bonaire's marked shore dive sites at your leisure. Dive when you want, where you want, and spend as much time as you'd like with your subjects!

$1195 Double Occupancy

There are a number of airlines that fly from Miami to Curacao every day of the week (American, Insel, Dutch Antilles Express) and from here you can make a 30 minute flight to Bonaire on DAE, Insel and Divi Divi.  Please allow time to collect your bags in Curacao, as these may not necessarily be booked straight through.  It's also possible to fly from many cities in the US on many different airlines to Aruba, and take Insel (Curacao stopover) or Tiara Air (non-stop) to Bonaire.
