New Nikon D7000 Camera Shipping Soon

Nikon is getting ready to ship the new D7000 camera, and Nikon underwater shooters are getting excited. This 16 megapixel camera has a wealth of features that make it compelling for underwater use, including 39 point autofocus, 6fps still shooting, 1080p video at 24fps, or 720p video at 30fps, full time AF during live view and video shooting, and excellent high ISO performance. All of this in a camera body that will be priced just above the $1000 mark.

Nikon has published a "Digitutor" for the D7000 to introduce people to the camera's functionality:

Nauticam has not yet officially announced a housing for the D7000 yet. Yet. Officially. :-)
