I took my NA-550D on its maiden voyage last weekend and enjoyed using it immensely. Together with my Inon 240z strobes, I was able to capture some beautiful shots along the Juno Beach, FL reefs with Molly's friend, Jeanni Bankston (see my FB wall). Andrew Ackerman and I are enrolled in Alex Mustard's next workshop in Grand Cayman and we both are very excited about going - and showing off our respective Nauticam housings.

I hear you have got one of these housing and were supposed to be in the water with it Thusday (Feb 4). I realize it is a Canon and you are primarily a Nikon guy, but what do you think? I am hoping to see more in action photos with it and a general blog about the equipment incl. all extra pieces added on (ports/strobes/lights/arms). How do the new piano buttons feel? Are the buttons going to add any new/special maintenances?

I used the Nauticam for my D300s the last 2 weeks while shark diving on Jim Abernethy's Shearwater boat in the Bahamas.
Love it.
The handles feel good in my hands and it is easy to change into video mode with the push/pull lever.
I like the big window for the live view and the locking dome ports ( I used both the 6" & 8.5" dome this trip). My other housing's dome port comes nearly undone which makes me very nervous.
I will get the white balance port now.
My eyes are pretty good so I won't keep the enhanced viewfinder.
The price can't be beat.
Everybody was impressed with the housing.
